When there is corruption in institutes and governments offices, peoples loose their faith in the rule of law resulting in erosion of trust with the government. The reason behind in corruption growth is due to weak legal systems. Corrupted people usually get away with their accountability because of lack of enforcement and loose law. Thus, resulting in many other peoples taking part in corruption.
Guiding people to fight against corruption and punishing those who are corrupted is equally important to establish anti-corruption. The effort should be equally made by us individuals who can raise their voice and the government who won't take part in it. So, transparency in the systems and taking public officials accountable is the major step in kicking out the corruptions. Legal protections for the people who point out the corrupt peoples should be guaranteed to motivate more peoples and specially youths to speak up. Accompanied by the people, government should also enhance and strengthen anti-corruption laws and policies. E-Government and online platforms can be implied by the government. This will help in engagement of citizens in anti-corruption and reduce the happenings of any corruption in public service delivery.
In the context of Nepal, more establishment of anti-corruption bodies like (CIAA) Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority should be implemented. These bodies should be given the power to inquire or investigate corrupts, any misuse of authority committed through improper conduct or corruption by a people with public office.
